It feels like Liverpool and Arsenal are doing battle every month, which is certainly the case for the months of December through to February. There was the recent 1-1 draw at Anfield in the Premier League last month and they meet again in the league at the Emirates on February 4 but before that, there’s the FA Cup 3rd round tie to navigate.

14 times winners Arsenal roll out the welcome mat to eight times winners Liverpool on Sunday and both sides have enjoyed a full week to prepare, which may result in strong lineups for both, although Liverpool do have the Carabao Cup semi-final in mid-week which may influence Klopp’s decision making.
