It's hard to know what to expect when you have to play Chelsea away days after Man City away and days before Arsenal at home, with a team bereft of confidence and missing so many key players.
But a clean sheet (somehow) and a point is a kind of progress, with a heavily rotated team that was nowhere near the best XI; perhaps with a hint of players dropped after the weekend, but also, no way could the same team play these three intense games within eight days.
I'll try and find some things to say below, beyond the big piece I wrote earlier today about how I'm approaching the rest of the season.
There weren't a ton of positives, but it looked like the effort was there – just undermined by a woeful lack of confidence with sloppy passing and everyone taking a fraction too long to do anything.
