Paul Tomkins, Andrew Beasley, Daniel Rhodes and other TTT regulars will give their thoughts on the match for 24 hours after the game, so the article received via email is unlikely to be the final version. There's statistics from the match and videos too.
Post-Match Thoughts
Paul Tomkins
Note: there will be changes to TTT, as noted yesterday. However, post-match articles should continue as normal, but possibly not as soon after the final whistle as in the past. I’m still working out how to move the site forward in a way I can deal with.

The thing about half a dozen players coming back from two or three months out at the same time, for the run-in, with no leeway, is that they need to hit the ground running; and that just isn’t realistic. Not for rhythm.
But to basically rest and rotate through back-to-back wins (even if 1-0 in Italy wasn’t enough to progress), with Everton and West Ham away, is about as good as it gets in the circumstances.
The team, with only five or so out injured right now, is a mixture of the exhausted, the out of form, the rusty, and the stand-ins; all burdened by the nerves of pressure, and the blow of unexpected defeats (and missed chances).
The team cohesion and flow is not there at all, but suddenly, with minutes under their belts, you can start to see more from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota, as well as expecting it from Mo Salah, Alisson, Curtis Jones and the others.
