Luton Town (Kenilworth Road) - Match Preview & Discussion Thread (November 5)
Liverpool and Luton Town meet in the top flight for the first time in 31 years on Sunday.
Match Preview and Metrics
You have to go back to when dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, smilodons, Hominins and Roy Hodgson roamed the planet at the exact same time for the last occasion that Liverpool and Luton faced off in a league fixture. That being before the creation of the Premier League in 1992.
Or more accurately, January 1992 when Liverpool recorded a 2-1 win at Anfield in the old 1st Division, courtesy of two late goals from Steve McManaman and Dean Saunders, with another Liverpool player - Nicky Tanner - scoring an own goal to give Luton a first-half lead.
