There’s three more matches to play before the international break in ten days’ time and the first of those three just happens to be the visit of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Sunday.

Both sides were in European action in mid-week, with Man City recording a comfortable 3-1 victory at home against Copenhagen on Wednesday to win 6-2 over the two legs and confirm their place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Liverpool were in the Czech republic on Thursday and recorded an emphatic 5-1 win against Sparta Prague in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie.
