Liverpool welcome Erik ten Hag’s Manchester Utd to Anfield on Sunday, with both sides navigating European commitments in mid-week, with different outcomes.

Having already qualified for the Europa League last 16 as group winners, Liverpool fielded a much changed side against USG on Thursday and lost 2-1, whilst Manchester Utd hosted their Champions League group winners Bayern Munich a day earlier, losing 1-0 and thus finishing bottom of their group and exiting European football altogether this season.
