Liverpool like good genes.

Despite already having the greatest living Egyptian, the Reds are apparently looking to add royalty to the talent pool.

Khafre (aka Khephren) was a pharaoh of Egypt's Fourth Dynasty during the Old Kingdom; his namesake arrives via the bloodline of one of France's greatest ever defenders, Lilian, a leader during France's own great footballing dynasty; as Jürgen Klopp looks set to build his second dynasty at Liverpool, and third overall, after back-to-back titles with Borussia Dortmund.

A youth football compatriot of the Reds' next defensive leader, Ibrahima Konaté, Khéphren would arrive with connections.

(Manu Koné, also linked to the Reds, played with Khéphren for Paris club AC Boulogne-Billancourt and then for the French U21 team.)

There's also talk of Liverpool dealing with the agents for fellow U21 Euros stars Ryan Gravenberch (albeit a full international with the Netherlands) and Mickey van de Ven, whom the Reds' current sporting director took from Dutch football to Wolfsburg, and so will know very well indeed.

The trio average 6'4" in height, and come blessed with pace, skill and energy. Each has a strong connection to players already at Liverpool.
