Liverpool are well and truly in the thick of an intense December, with a visit to Newcastle Utd on Wednesday evening - the first of three consecutive away matches - swiftly followed by trips to Goodison Park and Girona’s Estadi Montilivi over the next six days.

After those three matches are completed, we have Fulham (H), Southampton (A, League Cup), Spurs (A), Leicester (H) and West Ham (A) to see out 2024. That’s six of the next eight games to be played away from Anfield. I’d better book an appointment to see a hand therapist…
