We don’t really run the legendary (in these parts) My Day at the Match series anymore, as some of the regular contributors – including Chris Rowland, the leader of the pack – no longer had access to tickets for various reasons. (Plus, we have had to scale back operations since the move to Substack meant automatically losing a lot of subscribers in the necessary migration as the infrastructure of the old site began to terminally fail.)
But we did get some submissions after Sunday’s match. And as it was a special game, we’ll run them.
One includes someone flying in from Spain, back to their native England, and the other from someone who has attended 30 of Liverpool’s cup finals since 1965, in what is not his 7th decade spent watching the Reds.
And of course, TTT stalwart Andrew Beasley already added his experience of being at the game to the post-match thread (link below) to which he regularly contributes.
