It’s a Thursday night game that doesn’t involve the Europa League! Chris Wilder’s Sheffield Utd are the next opponents for the Reds, who sit two points clear of Arsenal and three ahead of Manchester City with nine Premier League games left to play for all three sides.
Both Arsenal and Man City are in action on Wednesday evening, hosting Luton Town and Aston Villa respectively, so depending on the results and margin of victory (assuming both win), Liverpool could be as low as 3rd by the time they kick-off against the Blades.
