Aside from going away to a major rival, the toughest games, I always say, are away in a gale, straight after the international break, three days before you play a mega-game and in this case, three more days until you play another mega-game. (Add half a dozen players out injured.)

The Reds had four of five players who played both international games and most of those looked well off the pace.

But another incredible weekend, as this phenomenal start to the season steam-rollers on. I want to look at the Reds today, but also Man City yesterday, as their situation is fascinating.
