So, will Ange Postecoglou have learned anything from the 6-3 thrashing Slot’s Reds handed out less than three weeks ago? If we go by his public comments following that defeat, the answer appears to be no.

With this tie coming just three days after the Manchester Utd fixture and three days before the FA Cup 3rd round tie against Accrington Stanley, I can see Slot fielding a fairly strong XI, with the majority of the first team players rested for the FA Cup tie, in preparation for the trip to Nottingham Forest.
