Match Preview and Metrics

With seven games left to play, 11 points from the remaining seven matches will see the Reds crowned Champions of England. A fantastic position to be in under any circumstances.

As disappointing as the defeat at Fulham was, the Reds have built up a sizeable enough lead to absorb a few defeats over the remainder of the season if they were to occur.

It’s also worth remembering that only four teams in the history of top flight football achieved the feat of going the entire league campaign un-defeated away from home. Not even Pep Guardiola’s best Man City sides achieved this, so let’s not get too disheartened over losing to a very good Fulham side at their own stadium.
