Paul Tomkins, Andrew Beasley, Daniel Rhodes and other TTT regulars will give their thoughts on the match for 24 hours after the game, so the article received via email is unlikely to be the final version. There's statistics from the match and videos too.

Post-Match Thoughts

Paul Tomkins

There are of course still easy games in the Premier League, but you can’t always say when they will be, prior to April when mid table teams head for the beach, or you’re playing someone who hasn’t won for 15 games (or maybe it’s the festive fixtures and you’re playing a weaker team who can’t cope with four games in 10 days).

Wolves were bottom, but on xG balance/points, were closer to mid-table; and had played some of the better teams.

Today they played nice triangles, but barely attacked (or couldn’t when they tried), and the one goal they did score was a gift; but the Reds, spluttering for chunks of the game, had just about enough quality in all areas to win 2-1 and fully deserve it.

And to end the weekend guaranteed to be top of the table, and with Arne Slot cruising to an 87.5% win rate, makes better viewing than parts of the game itself.
